Leading up to your brow appointment, avoid using retinol and anti ageing skincare on and around your brows 2 weeks prior to your appointment. If you have had Botox around your eyes or forehead within the past 2 months it's strongly recommended you wait until your Botox has worn off before having a brow procedure done. Botox can impact your natural symmetry and offset the mapping procedure. It's important that you forgo all injection based wrinkle relaxers in the brow area 2 months prior to your appointment.
Avoid drinking alcohol, taking Ibuprophen, drinking caffeine for at least 48 hour before your appointment. Caffeine and alcohol can effect your healed results.
We also recommend you wash your hair the day of your appointment, this is to help avoid getting your freshly tattoo brows wet if you attempt to wash your hair post appointment. Shower visors can be purchased to protect your brows from water and soap while showering. Be sure to take extra care with sun exposure as your tattoo will not hold well if you have sunburn.
Your pigment is prone to fade more quickly if you have more oily skin, an iron deficiency or frequently exfoliate your face. Smoking and sun exposure also will accelerate the fading process.
In the days leading up to your appointment, exfoliation and hydration are key. Include a lip scrub and moisturizing balm into your daily skincare routine to prime the area. Walking into your session with smooth, soft lips ensures that the pigment maintains an even, vibrant appearance and aids the healing journey.

If this is your first lip blush session, meet with your technician for an initial consultation and do a patch test to prevent any preventable side effects from the cosmetic tattooing process
Important Pre-Procedure Considerations
These conditions often indicate a weaker immune system and can make you more susceptible to getting an infection from the procedure. Chapped lips can be caused by seasonal factors, such as harsh winter temperatures or prolonged sun exposure during the warmer months. In this case scenario, it is best to wait out the weather and allow your lips to rehydrate before booking an appointment.
If you have EVER had a cold sore you must pre medicate 1-2 weeks prior to your appointment with Valtrex or Lysine, you will need to continue the medication until your lips are completely healed following the procedure.
Overall entire session should take approximately 60-90 minutes.
Treatment lasts on average between two to three years without touch-ups. However, various factors determine the longevity of your lip blush tattoo treatment.
